Mazatlan day 3

Saturday.

Up at 7. Run to the cliff divers. Back to Looney Bean for a so-so cafe americano. We walked back to the hotel and showered up amd went to la fonda de chalio for breakfast.  Huevos rancheros con machaca and T -chilaquiles verde con huevos. I loked it. Good eggs and great spicy machaca. Made it back to our room in time after a stroll around the block. We thought we could see the archeological museum but the security guard didnt have thr llaves. Keys. So he told us come back a la once. 

Took out at once to go to the museum.  3 rooms of artifacts.  Ok. Good background into the area we are in. 

We decided to walk to where the cruise ships come in bc we read they spent 3 mil on a promenade. We went the wrong way after getting to the end of the peninsula.  Oh well. We walked back on Constitution.  Grabbed excellent ice cream at Helarte Sano on Carnaval 1129 a block past the theater, South.  Yum.  T- honey. Me- oreo and manchego y fresa. On a cone. Best for hot days.

Back to room for a breather and ac. Went back out later to Angelinas Latin Kitchen. Yum. Bruchetta. xame out 5 ways. Shroom. Proscuitto. Tapanade. Chorizo. Roasted red or tomatoes.  Me-cuban on baguette. T- Penne with a salad and bread.  Tomatoes were excellent and avocados even better.

Again. Walk about with no destination. Drink at puerto viejo. Back to room refresh.  Watched "the ugly truth" and headed to find dinner.  T wanted to find hockey on TV.  ended up at Macaws for fried chicken night.  Fuck yes. Now im sleepy. Good creamed corn. Did I just utter those words? Walked back to Lucila. Not much action to be had with oit making my feet pound. Ouch. I'm getting to be a gato viejo. Or gata vieja? Puta vieja? Whatever it is. I'm a puss. Its 8 and I'm happy with my feet up, watching bad American movies.  Now on. Ghost Rider. Mañana- we transfer to Emerald Bay.  I'm going to miss our little slice of heaven here in Olas Altas. Casa Lucila is great. High ceilings. Huge bathroom. 6' tub. 2 beds? One huge one single. Good for some.  Us, we used it for backpack storage.  Only down fall... trendy rain shower head making showering unacceptable- can't put shampoo on or wait out conditioner time and stay in the water. Ac works good. Ceiling fan is turbo or off by the switch. Tv had 2-3 english channels. Plenty of bag spots and clothes drawers.hangups. Etc.  Love. Would consider the Jonathan across from Peralta.
